What happens after you register interest
What a non-binding demo request is, what it is not, and the steps a regulated process would require before anything could ever become real.
About 2 min read
Habi is a private beta and is demo-only. Registering interest in an opportunity here records an intention so that you can follow the process end to end. It is not a subscription, not an instruction, and not a commitment.
What the record is
Your request is stored as a non-binding demo entry with a timestamp and an audit trail. You can see it from your dashboard, review what you indicated, and withdraw it. No money moves, no payment instrument is charged, no holding is created and no securities transaction takes place. The purpose is to let you experience and criticise the flow while every consequential step is switched off.
What it is not
It is not an allocation, a reservation or a queue position in anything real. It does not create rights against any property or any vehicle. Nothing on this platform should be read as an offer, and no figure shown alongside it is a promise about a future outcome.
What a regulated process would require
The gap between a demo record and a real transaction is large, and it is worth seeing in full — partly so the demo makes sense, and partly because it is a reasonable checklist for evaluating anyone in this market.
- Identity verification and anti-money-laundering checks, including source of funds
- An assessment of whether the product is appropriate for you at all
- Delivery of complete offering documents, with time to read them
- Independent legal and tax advice on your own circumstances
- Money held by a regulated third party — an escrow agent or trustee — rather than by the platform
- Formal subscription documents, executed properly, and a registered entry recording your holding
- Ongoing reporting obligations, and a defined route for complaints and disputes
None of that is running here, which is exactly why nothing here is real.
What is worth doing in the meantime
Use the demo to practise the part that will matter later: read a full opportunity page, split its return into rent and value change, convert the fees into money, look for the downside case, and write down what would have to be true for the plan to work. Those habits transfer directly. The mechanics of any particular platform do not.
When something changes
Any move beyond education and non-binding demo activity would require legal and regulatory approval first, and it would be announced clearly rather than appearing quietly inside a flow you already trust. If you are ever unsure whether something is real, the answer while this notice is on the page is that it is not.
